Happy chinese new year everyone!!

Its the first day of chinese new year today... had the reunion dinner at my condo last night.. :) it was reli fun.. ate alot.. and alot... played with my cute cousin.. he's reli grown since i last saw him... ! babies grow fast!! lol...

enjoying every bit of my holiday... very relieved that pharmacy practice 2, drug and disease 2, and biopharm 4 was over... last friday was the last paper.. super glad it's all over.. now.. the main thing i'm worrying bout is the drug and disease 3 anticancer project report! lol...

this holiday was supposed to be used to celebrate chinese new year.. to eat.. to sleep.. to hang out with friends.. family... to collect angpaos.. BUT not to worry bout the project right?? :(
sadly... the report is due next tues.. right after the holidays are over!! poor us!!

anyway.. for those who have already done it... good for yoU!

Red cliff 2

Met up with hsiao wen, food cang and kai meng last saturday.. :) it has been such a long time since i last saw hsiao wen.. hehe.. she's still so cute.. food cang and kai meng fetched me at 12.30 pm.. then we went to fetch hsiao wen.. :) talked bout lots of stuff... especially those regarding highschool.. i din't make it for the recent highschool reunion.. so she was updating me on everyone... like.. who's dating who.. and who's studying what.. etc.. :) it was reli fun talking to her!!

reached pyramid.. and we went to buy tickets first... the two boys wanted to watch red cliff 2.. hsiao wen and me were not dat keen.. but the boys persuaded us.. lol.. ended up giving in to them... then.. we went for lunch.. ate at the dragon restaurant... had ramen.. dessert.. and 'siew long pao'.. lol.. so expensive la the bill... hehe... then we went shopping.. food cang bought a pair of shoes and a pair of jeans....

the movie was good.. i have to admit.. at the start of the movie.. i was quite lost.. and blur.. din't reli know who was who (i dint watch red cliff 1) .. and what exactly was happening.. lol.. was reading the subtitles.. it starred tony leung and takeshi kaneshiro.. :) and also zhao wei.. takeshi was so 'yeng'... hehe.. i was amazed with the strategy they used for war.. the planning.. and the manipulation.. and the sacrifice... especially the sacrifice tony leung's wife made in the movie.. all because of love..

Some of my christmas presents! :)

Christmas was special for me last year, 2008.. i got to spend it in perth, australia. it was a quiet but meaningful christmas.. with lots of sumptuous food.. *winkz..* :) hehe spent it with aunty janet, uncle tony and jerry... in perth. .a their beautiful home... (i have not posted the post on the trip to perth yet)


however, just decided to post the pictures of the lovely gifts that i received.. :)


my first gift.. from sofia!! was reli happy when she gave it to me.. i still remember.. she gave it to me on the saturday that we had the recycling project in vista.. she suddenly said.. 'samm, take the plastic bag from my pocket... ' i took it and found the brooch.. :) it was from bonita... so sweet of sofia!! :) thank you dear!!


my second gift.. from aunty suzie.. :) it was so nice of her to prepare a gift for me.. :) din't expect it!


my third gift... from jacqueline... this gift was unexpected... and was reli touched she remembered me! :) :)



my fourth gift.. from the gift exchange during the christmas dinner on the 20th night... :)



my fifth gift!! from my special someone! hehe... from yee xiang of course!! din't expect him to get it for me.. i really love it!! have been wanting to buy a big handbag for quite sometime.. but those that i saw were either too expensive or.... well... not the design that i like.. but when i opened this present from him... i immediately fell in love with this bag.. :) lol... quite dramatic huh?? lol.. :) it was really sweeeet of himm.... aiyo.. so lum.. *melts...*



this is my sixth gift.. :) the gift i received on christmas day itself! from aunty janet and family!! a pair of earrings and a necklace! i really love the earrings... :) the next day, 26th... we were shopping when we suddenly saw a large poster on one of the walls... in the shopping mall... it was of jesicca alba.. and she was looking as hot as ever... and.. guess what?? she was wearring a pair of earrings similar to the one aunty janet gave me.. !
aunty janet saw the poster too... and she was so excited.... she said 'samm... my taste not bad eh? the earring is similar to the one jesicca alba is wearing!!'
so cute!! hehe... i must say.. her taste is good.. :)



this is my last gift... din't expect anymore gifts.. when shu xian gave me this pair of earrings on the first day uni started in january 09. thanks shu xian.. :) i reli like the pink dangly thingy.. :)

just a random post.. suddenly decided to clear and re-organize my pendrive.. and post up some pictures.. :) last month IMU decided to give us new ids.. honestly i think most of us prefer the old id better.. the new one looks... well.. not dat nice. plus the picture is much bigger! lol... we had to return the old id to get the new id... i think ashley din't wanna return her old id cuz she liked it alot... so when we had to return the old ids... she wrote there 'lost id'.. so i think she got to keep her id!! hehe... bo kheng, jace and few of us took pictures of our old ids.. as a memory.. lol.. :)

Last cg outing of 2008

i know this post is quite outdated.. lol... din't have time to post it.. this was during our cg outing.. the last cg outing of 2008... hehe.. we went to klang.. to teluk gong.. lol.. to have seafood.. and we really did order alot alot!!! dint even have the chance to take pictures of the food.. cuz once the food was placed on the table... it was gone in almost a blink of an eye!! lol.. especially with anthony sitting beside me... even before the food came, he said to me 'don't worry. i will help you take the food ok?' but when the food arrived... he took all for himself and forgot all about me.. poor me.. :( lol.. anyway.. we ordered the special famous mee hoon with the oyster... there were crabs.. prawns.. vege... what else?? cant really remember now... anyway.. it was a great dinner! anna was back... and matthew was back too!!

29th nov.. 50th wedding anniversary!

29th nov was uncle david and aunty rose's 50th wedding anniversary! they're parents uncle daniel.. and grandparents of rachel, samantha, and timothy low.. :) the dinner was at holiday villa, subang. it was a buffet style.. pastor john came from labuan.. he gave the message during the dinner.. i was reli happy that i could come for their anniversary dinner as not many people i know could live that long to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary together! i could see the love shared between uncle and aunty.. though they were advanced in age but they were stil so loving and sweet towards each other... :)

juwita suwito, a malaysian singer.. ( from malacca) was actually uncle and aunty's god daugher.. she was there too.. so she actually did a presentation!! she sang 3 songs altogether.. one in english, malay, and one in chinese! uncle mentioned that we would have to pay to hear here sing.. but that was an exception.. hehe...

20th dec!!

These pics were taken on the 20th dec.. :) the day before we were going off to perth.. :)
In the morning.. we tidied the house.. folded clothes.. and.. cleaned the house..

We were having aunty amy, uncle peter (dad's cousin) and shanice over for lunch.. the just reached kl from hong kong the day before.. took them to million castle restaurant (behind overseas restaurant)... had alot of food!! the restaurant had a special offer for crabs!! only rm 15 per kg!! lol.. hehe.. ate the crabs like a pig!! we also had soup... taufu.. roasted duck.. spare ribs.. and many more!! ate alot wei... enjoyed the fellowship with shanice.. she was planning a 'secret santa' thing for her family for christmas!

after lunch they came over to our house... ended up playing cho dai di.. lol.. :) uncle peter and shanice played with me and my younger bro.. :)

In the evening.. we had a christmas pot bless dinner at aunty seraphim's house.. :) again.. there was alot of food.. :) yee xiang and his family came for the dinner too!! :) the dress code was red/white/green...

there was lamb (rm 700)!!, turkey.. all types of salads.. satay... (the satay finished in no time!), and i helped prepare ice kacang.. (using a kenwood chef ice shaver).. and.. there were lots more food!!
