Last minute Ipoh trip

Last monday, when i was still in Camerons (the last day in camerons).. ying hui suddenly msged me n asked if i'm keen to go for a 3 day trip to ipoh.. was going there to visit foo pun :) well, asked my dad for permission and he said 'yes'..

so.. only bout 7 pm plus on monday i confirmed with ying hui that i can go. and shu xian bought the bus tickets.. :)

reached ipoh bout lunch time on tues (28th oct)... waited at the bus terminal at Gopeng for foo pun to fetch us. :) waited and waited.. till almost 3 plus.. lol.. we sat at the terminal and played cards.. cho dai di.. the new version of it.. the one kang lik taught shu xian. and she taught us.. it was reli funny... there was the 'king', the 'bendahara', the 'normal person' and the 'slave'...

The first round was the same (play like normal).
at the end of the first game, the one who wins will be the king, the second person will be the bendahara, the third the normal person and the one with the most cards left, the slave.

The king will give his/her two smallest cards to the slave.
The slave will give his/her two largest cards to the king.
The bendahara will give his/her two smallest cards to the normal person.
The normal person will give his/her two largest cards to the bendahara. :)

Foo pun and khai xhuen took us to the 'tai shi tou' (big tree)
They had lots of yong taufu... only 50 cents per piece!! first time i saw yong taufu this cheap!
was eating my piece of brinjal when i spotted a worm in the brinjal... was quite disgusted.. lol.. but it was reli funny watching foo pun's and khai xhuan's reaction when i showed the worm to them..

Foo pun bought us red bean drink.. apparently the drink was famous there.. it was quite nice.. :)
He was to be our driver for this trip.. and khai xhuen was to be the host.. to bring us to nice places to eat.. :)

We went to the cyber cafe at night.. it was called 'infinity'.. watched them play..

Couldn't wake up on time the next day so we ended up eating McD's instead of dim sim.. :(

Us, playing cho dai di again at McD... lol.. ying hui brings his deck of cards everywhere we go..


Went to the mall which kx called as 'ipoh midvalley'... watched 'my best friend's girl'..
not as good as i expected. they cut alot of the parts.. and the guy was... not reli dat good looking.. lol.. but overall okay i guess..

Had dim sum the next morning.. yay!! then packed our stuff.. stopped by McDs again... and played 'uno stacko'.. lol...

Ended up at a cafe to have lunch before heading back.. the bus back was at 430 pm..

The rain din stop when we were leaving the cafe... was almost late to the bus terminal.. but managed to reach ngam ngam 430 :)
