Cooking

Talked to mum this morning and asked her how to cook the chicken. :) she explained to me.. she kept saying, 'its very simple'.
finally after lab, i came home and prepared it.. ;) turned out nice.. :) not enought rice.. hehe.. bo said, 'next time if cook this chicken, must cook more rice k?' hehe.. so happy.. :)

Weather.. :)

It has been raining everyday from monday to thurs this week.. had to wear my jacket when walking to classes and lab.. raining and raining.. it made me feel so gloomy and a little depressed when i woke these few days and opened the window to find that it was raining outside and the sun was no where to be seen.. :(

But, classes and labs still went on as usual.. duh right??
It was fun.. but tiring...

Then chel and me were like... 'go take camera, go take camera!' lols.. :)

Anyway.. today all four of us walked to tesco for grocery shopping.. *i feel like those aunties who has to go buy groceries for the household*

bought almost everything to last me for the whole week.. or even longer!!

I'm stil short of eggs, milk and yogurt.. guess have to buy it from sainsbury..

The weather today was perfect... great for walking.. !!

This is fried spaghetti noodles with lettuce, tomatoes, mushrooms, sausage, with garlic and pepper.. very very yummy. :)

One week in Glasgow

Its been a week since i came to Glasgow. Have not been posting anything up.. have been so busy with stuffs.. Its all very very new for me.. i have to do things on my own, a lot of which i have never done before. But Glasgow is really a nice place.. and the accomodation is nice too... :) the people here.. very very nice.. :)

I have been cooking and preparing my meals since the day I reached Scotland.. :) hehe.. a miracle.. i'm eating very very healthy food too.. :)

usually milk, cereal, yogurt and apple for bfast
sandwich for lunch with orang juice and a peach..
and rice with soup/ other dishes for dinner...
yup... most people would say that it is a miracle.. :)

My spaghetti i cooked today... prepared and ate it all within one hour! lols.. put alot of onions, garlic, tomatoes.. i love it. hm.. not bad cooking...

This was the spaghetti i cooked 2 days ago... hm... was too watery and i forgot to put salt. so there was not much taste.. today's one was much better.. :)

Have been having classes from 9am-5pm these few days... tiring.. but quite fun.. had the longest lecture yesterday...4 hours!! the same subject.. ! lols.. have to go study now.. this will be a tiring semester.. must jia you d...!

Its JUNE!

On the first of June, I went to buy my insurance from MSL. Took the train there to PWTC.

On the second of June, I met up with Kar Yan at bout 2plus.. We met at sweet bean.. :) havent met with her for ages.. :( and now i'm leaving.. anyway.. these are the pics i took with her.. and her sis.. she brought her sis with her! :) we had a great time catching up...

Had a farewell meeting with Cindy and Fang Xhuen last friday. Have not seen Fang Xhuen at all ever since i moved back to KL in 2004.. Dint realize that time passes so fast.. Anyway.. he still looked the same as from the last time I remembered.. :) it was really fun catching up with him and Cindy. Planned to meet up with Cindy a lot of times before.. but always.. either one of us couldn't make it last minute.

We had lunch at a Thai restaurant in the Gardens. Then window shopped in a few places, one of them which was Sasa. :) haha.. Fang Xhuen accompanied Cindy and me into the shop. Then we ended up in Saint Cinammon. :) Used Fang Xhuen's laptop to check on Hsei Di's pics in facebook.. I miss Hsei Di so so much.. :(
Had lots of fun catching up with Cindy and Fang Xhuen... I even received a Belated Birthday gift from both of them. So sweet.. :)

I still had my free movie-birthday voucher to be used at GSC. It was gonna expire by the end of May (which meant I only had 2 days more). So, decided to take dad for a movie. He seldom goes to the cinemas with us. So, Saturday was a movie day for both dad and me. Yup, just the two of us. :)

We watched Star Trek. I treated dad to the movie, and he treated me a nice lunch.. :) We were so full that we din't even feel like buying popcorns before the movie started (at 1.30pm).
Had a great time with dad.. :)

Yee Xian came to church with me.. :) yay! Then he came over to my place after church.. Looked through the stuffs that i had packed so far.. yup.. I have been packing these few days.. Putting stuffs into the luggage bag, and then thinking twice, and then taking some of it out.. Couldn;t afford to bring so many things there.. After all, my weight limit is 20-23kg.. :(

Dad took us to the MPO (Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra) at KLCC in the afternoon. Yee Xian didn't join us though. The show started at 3pm. But we were there at 1pm plus. Had lunch there before going for the show. It was really really amazing.. haha.. It was my first time attending it. My piano teacher kept asking me to attend it many times before, but I din't have the chance. So, I decided to make it a point to go and watch it before I leave for Scotland!

Dad managed to get the whole family to go! So one happy family went to watch the orchestra performance! So so happy! Plus, we had really good seats (right in the middle, not too front, not too back)!

The pianist was really good! He even did an impromptu solo piece. Cuz the crowd kept clapping and applauding him even after he got off the stage. In the end, he had to come back on the stage and play his solo piece!
The whole orchestra was really captivating!

18th May, Monday

Took the train to PWTC to apply for ISIC card. After that went to The Mall to shop shop. There was a Universal Travel there. Ended up buying a set of thermal wear (100% wool) and a pair of water-proof gloves and also a pair of woolen socks. :) The price was quite reasonable.. :) Ate at McD with mum.. :)

Took mum for a movie in Mid Valley.. wanted to watch NIght in the Museum but ended up watching I Love You, Man. Wanted to save Night in the Musuem for the following week, to watch it with my two bros after they finish their exams.. :) After the movie we went shopping.. again.. haha... bought a new set of bedsheet, pillow case and quilt cover.. green in colour.. a very cheerful colour.. meant to cheer my room up.. :) then hunted for a fruit basket for Dr Lin.

Went to MV to hear some health talk.. quite a waste of time.. whole afternoon gone..
Had a farewell dinner with my relatives... as usual, alot of food.. :)

25th May, Monday

Visa confirmed rejected. So spent the whol morning filling up the forms.. AGAIN >.<
Went to the vfs office.. AGAIN in the afternoon.. saw ying and chan sing and choon hau and also jean there..


26th May, Tues

Went to Shogun in Pyramid.. :) haha.. so happy.. with Yee Xian, Ying Hui, Shu Xian, Yuan Liang.. Ying came to Pyramid also.. but she dint join us with the lunch.. ate alot.. lolss.. after that went window shopping.. shu xian showed me the jacket she bought.. :) nice..

Movie day at Jon Lai's house.. :) haha.. he has his new BLuRay thing.. super clear.. can see every single detail.. so so clear.. wasnt even used to it.. haha.. also had lunch at his house.. cooked by his mum.. :) spaghetti.. with leong fun drink.. with watermelon and pisang goreng :)
Then... went for my facial at 4pm.. :) whee....

Whee... Josh din't have class.. John too.. :)
Mum took me to get my Xray done in the morning,. after breakfact we went to Mid Valley.. have been going to MId Valley so often these days.. lolss.. Went shopping at MetroJaya.. and bought a pair of socks.. :) All four of us went to watch Night in the Musuem.. :) managed to get 4 student tickets!! so happy.. haha.. it was a nice movie.. but i preferred the first one.. ate KFC after the movie.... :)

Mum's birthday!!

Today was mum's birthday.. :) the 21st of May.. :) dad had a surprise planned for her.. even me and my bros din't know where dad wanted to take us for lunch.. we left the house at 11am. Cuz apparently dad has not been to that restaurant before and he was afraid that we might get lost along the way. Finally we reached the place. Wisma UOA, just beside KLCC. :) It was a Japanese buffet restaurant!! Mum's favourite cuisine! :) The name of the restaurant was Saisaki. It was one the the branches of SHOGUN, the one in One Utama and Sunway Pyramid. It was their 10th year anniversary and there was a 50% discount!! Haha.. i was so so excited.. cuz i have not been to a Japanese buffet before. The lunch started at 12pm - 2.30pm.

We were ushered to our table. The ambience was really nice. The spread was really really good too! I was really impressed and happy.. :) lols.. looked at all the food like a kampung girl entering the city for the first time.. so much food.. and only 2 and a half hours!




There was all types of chicken, like.. chicken teriyaki.. fresh mussels and oysters with lemon, all types of salmon.. grilled.. smoked.. raw.. all types of sushi.. thought i cant really remember their names.. all types of noodles.. udon.. all types of soup.. miso soup, tom yam soup, shark fin soup, cod fish soup, white fungus with longan.. there was also duck.. the peking duck.. which they wrapped in egg roll.. plus.. there was the crab.. chilli crab.. soft shell crab... barbequed eel.. hm.. alot alot more!! and also prawns.. and even quail!

I loved it! Mum loved it too!! We ate and ate..
