Checklists...

These few weeks have been busy.. i'm all occupied with preparations for Scotland.. a part of me really does not want to go.. don't know why.. i'm too much of a home person. i love my home, and my family.. :)

anyways.. took my passport sized picture the week before hospital attachment. Did my full blood test also.. at the Pathlab in Mega Mandung. The lab results were good but.. as usual, my cholesterol was high.. :( 6.4.. tink it runs in the family. No more fatty foods for me (not that i eat it very often though, i eat vegetables and fruits most of the time!)

Washed some of my thick clothings, those that i'm gonna take to Scotland. Will be taking dad's jacket and two of his woollen sweatshirts/jumpers (the ones he used when he was studying abroad in the US.

Weighed my big empty luggage bag, the one i'm gonna check in. It's bout 5 kgs wei.. super heavy.. and it's empty!

Got my new laptop last Saturday, 25th April. It is really nice.. haha.. i love it! The guy who helped to install the microsoft office software was also kinda cute.. :) lolss.

Bought another sweatshirt/jumper with mum on monday, 2 days back. Also bought scented candles for the deco for the table (for my birthday).

Went to IOI mall yesterday with mum to try and find a dress for my birthday party next saturday.. couldn't find any one that i particularly liked.
Ended up buying coloured stones for the deco for the table also. And also stuffs for the door gift!

Gonna be kinda busy these few days, making the door gift. Have to neglect my 'Grey's Anatomy' for a few days. Miss watching it alot.. haha... The offer letter is finally out today! yay.. can start doing my visa application.. busy busy...

Last Monday, 13th April

Went to Mid Valley last monday with Regina and mum.. :) took the bus.. was supposed to go there for a movie, namely 'Confessions of a Shopaholic' :) supposedly only me and Regi was going to watch it.. but i persuaded mum to watch it too.. finally mum ended up watching with three of us.. the show was really nice.. she was naive but at the same time.. she managed to get the job, and the man!! lolz.. i loved the way those mannequins came to life.. bading her to come into the shops to buy clothings, bags, shoes... especially the part when it persuaded her to buy the green scarf for the interview!! it was a funny show.. :)

After the movie, we saw some nice pairs of heels (Regi and me). But there was no size for both of us.. ended up not buying anything.. Regi managed to buy a pair of slippers.. those that she had been eyeing the previous time she went to MV.

Last Wednesday, 15th April

Had dinner with yee xiang, foo pun, doreen, nyuk cheng, and chan sing.. ate noodles at a noodle shop. Foo pun and yee xiang told super funny stories bout their few days during hosp attachment.

Last Thursday, 16th April

Went to IMU to get my results. Results were out and better than i expected. But, DD2 i got lower than expected. It was the opposite for DD3. It was higher than DD2!! Very relieved results were out.. was supposed to be out on tues.. but was delayed.. Yee xiang came over to my house for dinner. :) so sweet!

Last Friday, 17th April

Went to church for Paroimia with Rachel, Bo Kheng, and Yee xiang.. :) i drove.. lolz.. i tink chel must have thought that my driving skills were quite bad.. i was on the wrong lane quite a few times.. haha.. the show was great.. i loved the grey doldrums dance!! and also the black legion dance! at was awesome!!

Last Saturday, 18th April

Ashley's birthday! Alot of ppl from IMU were there!! Was surprised to see so many of us!! haha.. there were a few 'surprises' also.. hm... some of you may know what i mean.. There was lots of food.. catered.. there was lamb also!! it was really really nice.. Ash's dad gave a speech... her two brothers were the camera men for the night.

A very tiring first day of hospital attachment!

Woke up this morning at 6 plus. Was supposed to meet the rest outside IMU at 7am.
Was brushing my teeth and looking into the mirror when it suddenly occurred to me that today was the 20th of the month. Which meant that.. its was the exact date of the time of the month which, my period was supposed to come! No wonder i was especially emotional these few days back.. lolz.. PMS! Really hoped that it wouldn't come today.. as usually it seldom came on the exact date. However, i still brought the pad (with the wings).

Don't know why.. of all the days, IT chose to come today. So, I was clerking my case with Sue May when suddenly.. IT came.. made me super cranky today. Super tired and backache. Legs felt like they weren't mine. It was really really hot in the ward today! With the stomach cramp and with all the standing, there was a point where I felt like I was going to faint! Sue May kept asking me if i was okay.. I plan to wear a skirt instead of pants tomorrow. Hopefully it will be cooler..

We managed to clerk 2 and a half cases today. All male. Cases of stable angina, chronic renal failure, diabetes mellitus, and hypertension. Quite a good start. Good expereince. Four more days to go! :)

Fast and Furious 4

Last fri, 3rd april.. i went to timesquare with yee xiang.. :) watched fast and furious.. it was really nice.. and yeng also.. at first when i suggested to yx that i wanted to watch that movie.. he was like.. 'you watch wan meh?? i thought too violent for you and you don't like it?' Lolz... :) I also din't know y i suddenly so semangat to go watch that movie.. :) but it turned out to be great.. :)

The part that touched me the most in the movie was how much Dom love Letty.. he really felt so much pain when he found out she died.. I guess what they say is true.. 'you never really know how to appreciate someone or somthing, until you lose it'

It thought me to appreciate people around me even more.. i mean.. you nv know when it's too late.. a simple 'thank you' or 'i love you' can mean a whole lot to the person.. mere actions can also say more than words..

Went window shopping after that.. yx was really sweet.. brought me to all the shops.. pui me see clothes.. i must say he's really patient with me.. esp when i threw a 'tantrum' when i ended up not buying anything.. as i badly wanted to buy a dress.. in sungei wang.. lolzz.. it was a great day anyway... with my special person.. :)

Izzy's

Last monday was the convo mag commitee dinner.. :) the whole commitee was invited.. it was definitely a great dinner... it was supposed to be in Izzy's cafe in Bukit Bintang.. but we ended up in the Izzy's cafe in SS21... it was really fun... all of us all dressed up and taking pictures before dinner was served, during dinner, and even after dinner. We were there all the way until the cafe was closing. Devi gave a speech.. and then.. picture and pictures!!! :) The guys even carried Devi up while taking the picture.. we had great fun.. the food was great..
